How scheduling works

Use the separate sign-up page to request every Saturday that could work for you. An application is not a reservation; your performance is official only after Higgins Lot confirms the date and schedule.

Choose dates

Select one or several Saturdays from May 1 through September 25, 2027. You may be offered one or more dates.

Describe your setup

Provide your group size, instruments, amplification, equipment footprint, samples, and any merchandise or special-equipment request.

Wait for confirmation

The Market Manager reviews fit, schedule, sound, pedestrian clearance, tenant operations, and permit conditions before confirming.

Music Tree operating rules

The downloadable performer packet and 2027 Master Regulations control. These are the essential points to understand before applying.

Sound and power

Sound check begins no earlier than 8:45am unless approved. No market electricity is available. Amplification must be self-contained and modest, with a normal target of 70 dBA or less about 10 feet in front of the performance area.

Private-property footprint

The designated performance area is entirely inside the privately owned raised planter. Performers, equipment, and tip jars must remain within it; both adjoining public sidewalks, entrances, tenant sightlines, pedestrian gaps, aisles, and vendor spaces must remain clear.

Tips and sales

Performances are for tips unless a separate written agreement provides compensation. Merchandise and recording sales, subwoofers, and amplified percussion require advance approval.
